It's Fall!

We went for a walk along the path near Jerome's work after we picked him up today. We are a one car family, so we pick him up and drop him off most days, or he'll take the car on days we don't have anything planned. Anyway, there is a park/creek/path on the way and since the sun popped out and the leaves are a'changin, we tossed Kenna's bike in the car and headed on over this afternoon!

Before we left the house though, we had to have a little fun ;)


As soon as we got there, Makenna took off on her bike. She is getting so good at riding now! She was even standing up on it, trying to pedal like the big kids






Along the path we found caterpillars




and flowers




and cool berry trees


and stopped for some family photos






We also stopped to enjoy the creek


and the leaves



These bushes are AMAZING in real life - so vibrant!


And it's hard to tell, but this grainy blob is actually one of 2 Bald Eagles we saw soaring above us. Seriously, who needs more in life than that???
